Our Students Shine at NHSMUN 2026
We are immensely proud of these young diplomats for their dedication, their vision, and the way they represented our community in the heart of New York.

Last year, a group of eight students took the initiative to prepare for the NHSMUN competition in New York City. After months of hard work, our delegation finally flew to the United States on March 10th to represent our school on the global stage. This experience provided them with a unique opportunity to dive into complex international issues, propose creative solutions, and, most importantly, build strategic alliances with peers from around the world to solve shared challenges.

Our representatives demonstrated incredible leadership across five distinct committees. Bruno Flores participated in DISEC, where he debated global security and how to keep the world safe from modern high-tech weapons. In UNESCO, Clemente Franken worked on important plans to protect historical buildings and ancient traditions during times of war or natural disasters. Focusing on the digital age, Juan Pablo Schmidt joined the SOF committee to discuss how to make the internet and Artificial Intelligence (AI) accessible and safe for every country, whether rich or poor.

In the COPUOS committee, the team of Eugenio Infante and Pedro Bobillier discussed the future of outer space, debating how all nations can use satellite technology to improve farming and monitor climate change. Meanwhile, Gregorio Troncoso and Juan Pablo Riffo represented the school in the WTO, searching for ways to make global trade easier and fairer, especially for local farmers selling their crops internationally.

We are immensely proud of these young diplomats for their dedication, their vision, and the way they represented our community in the heart of New York.
