We are proud to announce that Vicente Raveau Pope, a student from 12thC, has reached the finals of the English Speaking Union’s public speaking competition. Vicente's 5-minute speech on the prompt, “Unity, to be real, must stand the severest strain without breaking” by Mahatma Gandhi, has earned him a spot to compete tomorrow, April 4th, against schools across Chile.

The winner will have the chance to represent Chile at the International Public Speaking Competition (IPSC) in London, where the best young speakers from over 50 countries gather for a week of cultural exchange and contests.
