Last year, 12° grade students enrolled in the English elective and took the B2 First and C1 Advanced exams administered by the University of Cambridge. Yesterday we had our English Awards Ceremony, where we celebrated their exceptional accomplishments in their pursuit of academic excellence and language proficiency.
During the ceremony held at the P. Eduardo Oggier Auditorium, each student was presented with the certification from the University of Cambridge, which holds substantial value for their future in both higher education and at work.
Felipe Sará, who attained the highest recognition in the exam achieving a C2 level, represented his peers during the event. He talked about how hard they worked to pass the exams and how thankful they were to their teacher, Miss Rosario Infante, whose guidance was essential for achieving their outstanding results.
Ana María Tomassini, the school's vice principal, congratulated the students for their hard work and great achievement in mastering the English language, recognizing its importance in today's interconnected and globalized world. She urged them to persist in their efforts and to keep practicing their English that will be essential in today’s world.
Furthermore, she emphasized the school's commitment to enhancing English proficiency for future students. This initiative is particularly significant considering our religious congregation is led by priests proficient in multiple languages, highlighting the need for all members of our community to communicate effectively on a global scale.
