With a lot of pride, selected students from 4th to 8th grade showcased their English skills on Wednesday, May 15th, and 22nd, in our internal Spelling Bee competition, a test of English spelling and pronunciation.
The tournament kicked off on May 15th for 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students, while on May 22nd, it was the turn of 7th and 8th-grade students to take the stage.
"During May, the best student from each grade was selected, and then the top five from each level participated in this competition to determine the winner. It was a tight competition, and we had to conduct more rounds than planned," remarked Manuela Cisternas, the English Coordinator.
The students selected from each grade will have the opportunity to compete in Spelling Bee championships organized by the English Speaking Union on June 6th and 7th. The students who will represent us in this external competition are:

En la asignatura de Formación Misionera Verbita, los estudiantes de Prekínder a 4° EM conocieron las enseñanzas de Jesús a través de este importante libro.
Los seis estudiantes tuvieron una experiencia muy enriquecedora, en la que aprendieron y se divirtieron junto a más de 400 alumnos de distintos colegios.
Facundo Barrios obtuvo el segundo y tercer lugar en fondo y mariposa, respectivamente.
En la salida pedagógica del nivel, los niños aprendieron sobre el sistema solar, los asteroides y las características de nuestra galaxia.
En una visita pedagógica, los estudiantes pudieron poner en práctica sus conocimientos y familiarizarse con el panorama económico del país.
Los alumnos fueron parte del desafío Sonrisa Circular, que buscaba juntar materia prima para fomentar la economía circular.
Clemente Salas representó al club U. de Chile en la Copa Alemania realizada en la región del Bío Bío, logrando un gran resultado.
Los jóvenes se trasladaron a la región de Valparaíso para participar en el proyecto “Construyendo una misión”.
En la iniciativa, los estudiantes se trasladaron al sur del país para colaborar en la limpieza de espacios públicos y reforestar áreas degradadas.
A través de juegos y dinámicas, las personas que trabajan en el colegio comenzaron la segunda parte del año escolar.
