Strengthening Our Exchange Partnership with St. Edmund’s College and Prep
On Monday, we were thrilled to welcome Mr. Smerdon and Ms. Monge from St. Edmund’s College and Prep, a boarding school in England with whom we began our exchange partnership back in January.

Their visit was a wonderful chance to get to know each other better and to continue building bridges that will allow our students to share experiences, cultures, and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Our guests enjoyed a full day of activities that reflected the spirit of our school. The day began with a tour led by Diego Pérez (2EMC) and Matías Herrera (1°EM A), who proudly shared our history. Afterwards, they joined an English lesson with Ms. Howard, where they experienced firsthand the enthusiasm of our students when learning english. The visit ended at the “Rancho Verde,” where Tomás Swett (4EM A) and Vicente Infante (4EM C) introduced them to our Scouts’ commitment to service and community. As a symbolic gesture of friendship, they presented them with a Scout bandana, officially sealing our partnership.

The purpose of this exchange goes far beyond academics: we aim to foster global connections, celebrate cultural diversity, and give our students the opportunity to broaden their horizons. Each meeting between our communities brings us closer to meaningful experiences and learning that will accompany them throughout their lives.
