Verbo Divino's English debate team won 2nd place in the ESU Debate Tournament
Verbo Divino's English debate team won 2nd place in the English Speaking Union Debate Tournament after debating in semifinals with The Grange, and in the definition for 1st and 2nd place with Santiago College.
During the past three months they prepared 12 debates, along with VMA's English debate team, researching, building arguments and deciding on the best strategy to face each of them.
Congratulations to Alfonso Avendaño, Matías Herrera, Pedro Ihnen and Bernardo Shea for their enthusiasm and commitment to the team!
